Cassie Stauch
Youth Intervention Coordinator
Cassie Stauch came to Salida in 2017 to start studying for her Masters in Social Work online through Arizona State University. During her MSW, she interned with FYI and fell in love with the community work. After graduation in May 2019, she became a full-time employee with FYI as the youth prevention/ intervention Coordinator. She teaches Towards No Drugs (TND) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), in addition to individualized support for youth. She is constantly researching new ways to engage youth and seek out any opportunity to empower them to find their true potential.
Cassie is originally from upstate New York. She received her Bachelors in Education from Keene State College in New Hampshire in 2008. She came to Colorado to be a ski bum, 9 years ago and has never looked back. She has traveled and volunteered throughout 30 countries, which has given her a worldly perspective. In her free time, you can find Cassie skiing, rafting, climbing or camping throughout the mountains. Her passion for adventuring in the outdoor is almost as strong as her love for working with young people.
