Family & Youth Initiatives Grant Manager and Youth @ Crossroads Manager - Kelly Kissling
Kelly Kissling has worked with at-risk teenagers for over ten years. She has a bachelor's of Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's in Business Administration. She has completed facilitator training for Girl's Circle, Reconnecting Youth, Moral Recognation Therapy and Choosing Not to Use, all of which are evidence based curriculums. Kelly has also completed cultural diversity training, and Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training, (SAPST). Ms. Kissling has completed team building courses, leadership trainings and advanced computer skills classes. She is proficient at Signed English and has conversational Spanish skills.
When not at work you can find Kelly training for marathons or hiking, skiing and spending time with her dog and husband.
Kayla Maddox graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2006 with a bachelor’s of Education and a minor in Cultural Diversity. She has been a substitute teacher since 2003 and a classroom teacher in the public school system for 3 years. She has taught a wide range of curricula to K-9 students with varying needs and abilities. Kayla has written standards based curriculum, collaborated in writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and has completed Nonviolent Crisis Prevention training. Kayla speaks basic Spanish, and plans to earn a master’s degree in Sustainability or Experiential Education in the near future.
Depending on the season, Kayla enjoys boating on the Arkansas River, gardening, traveling, training her pack goats, and archery hunting.
