To prevent child abuse and neglect and promote empathetic, healthy parenting skills through parenting education and follow-up support.
Nurturing Parenting Program is a weekly 12 – 16 week parenting program that engages the entire family. Families eat a healthy meal together. Afterwards, parents learn in one room while children or teens learn in another. There are cash incentives for families who attend all classes and graduate. For graduates, NPP offers monthly family-to-family dinners or outings and ongoing support through cooking classes and play groups.
